My elderly father has a Sentry Model 1250 Firesafe and has forgotten the combination to it. He has borderline alzheimers and the probability that he will remember the proper combination is low. I found the numbers 4144748 on the outside of the container on the upper right side as you face it. Can you assist or instruct me on the proper procedure to follow. Thanks

I purchased a lodge with a sentry 1300 safe and was given the combination and had it opened once. We operate seasonaly and I have lost the combination. It has a piece of tape on the lower right corner near the hinge I am assuming it may be a registration number. Can you provide me with a combination and instructions on how to open it with this number? Do you need an email from the prior owner telling you I legally own it?

As far as I know- no replacement handles are available from Sentry, (I COULD BE WRONG!)but as far as I know... I've even seen as far as replacing the entire door because of a broken handle. Best bet is to find another safe like the one you have at a yard sale or something or see if a locksmith in the area will sell you one if he has some laying around. Just a note to all looking for lost combinations...the numbers Sentry may give out may not be correct! Many people have the combinations changed on their safes routinely! I do it nearly every week. I would only recommend getting the combo from Sentry if you are the original owner of the container AND sure no one has ever changed it. Best of luck.

I recently bought a Sentry Supreme model 5380 safe at a local auction. I was given the combination and the door is locked in the open position. I need to know the procedure for opening it so I can get the door closed and make it useable. Which direction do you start and how many turns in each direction do I make?

The serial number is B812908 and the combination is listed as

I have a sentrysafe model S0417. Three number combination and key system. I've had it for a couple of years and the combination lock has never worked. I removed the internal lock cover and found all the tumbler wheels off. The clip had never been fastened correctly. Can anyone tell me the correct order of all the parts to the internal locking wheels and spacers?

Hello. I have an older model Sentry Safe (model 6250) which Sentry no longer makes. The part that is broken is combination dial which has a long piece attached that extends through the door and turns the locking mechanism (the long piece is broken off of the combination dial). I was advised by Sentry to contact local locksmiths to see if they have any old parts. Please let me know if you need additional information, dimensions or pictures. Thank you!

Thank you for your time. I sent an message on this site a week a go , but did not get a response. I have a sentry fire safe mod.# oA3810, Ser.# AV91230*. The magnetic solinold bolt the works with the digital electronic lock is broken. The plastic piece that holds the spring in place broke off. I spoke with a lock smith and he told me I have to get the part from you. That according to the law, you must supply parts up to 15 years. the safe is about a year old. Please respond and let me know the price for the part.

I stated that in my order......When I received them

I was charged $9.95 for shipping......If the shipping

was not free..it should not have stated free shipping....

I have a Mosler upright 2 drawer safe with a key handle.

I bought it at a yard sale. At that time I opened it with the owners a few times, After i got it home I stored the safe and when I brought it out for use I could not open it. The combo is 4 to the left to #5/ 3 to the right to # 20 and left 2 turns to #60 It wont open with key both ways any ideas Thanks David

My late husband had a Sentry 1250 safe when we were married in 1993. I had the combination on a paper but cannot find it. I think the combo is 0-29-51. I had trouble the last time I opened it, getting it to open. I cannot get it to open this time at all. I had a lock smith look at it and he said all the tumblers are turning together. The serial number is 2466170. My late husbands name was Bryan Minton and he lived in Hermiston, Oregon. I don't know if he registered the safe or not. He probably bought it in the 1980s or early 1990s. Could you help me with this problem, please?

Hi ref.#005040181a I ordered a set of keys for my safe 1100 model with a number of H-301065 inside on a sticker it also has file no.R-4132other than that that is all of the numbers on it. I ordered the keys back in April of 2008 and have tryed to call Sentry Safe numorous times but always get put on hold for over 30 min. and just dont have anymore time to hold so if you can not send me a set of keys that will work on this safe please refund me my money . We have a Sentry S0409 SAFE SN: AE-25026 We intentionally locked the safe. Were trying to open it with the push button key and accidentally turned the combination wheel.

Now unable to re-open the safe. The combination I have is 24 - 4 - 63 but have not been successful in any attempts to open.

Can you verify the combination and send me instruction step by step on opening this safe?

I have a sentry 6250 that we rarely open. I have the combination My notes said to start at 0 and turn the dial to the left 4 times passing zero. Then stop at the 1st number.

Then turn the dial right past the second number in the combination and stop at that number on the third rotation.

Then turn the dial left 2 times stopping at the third number in the combination.

But it didn't work. So I have the safe, the combination but I need help on the right way to spin the dial to the numbers.
