I have been beating my brains out over an idea that would provide local merchants not only free advertising, but would actually PAY them to advertise!

1. Merchants would provide GOOD promotional offers.

2. These promotional discounts (40 of them) placed on a folding credit card sized membership card to a discount club. Merchant will sign an open ended contract to honor the ofers.

3. Card is valid for 1 year during the length of the club membership.

4. Club membership (cards) are sold through:

a. website

b. local charities

c. set ups at each participating merchant

5. Merchants would receive an equal share of 10% of the gross sales payable every quarter

Printing of the cards can be done in-house using a color laser printer
