Affirmative Action
General talk about office stuff MissCrissy from My Chair -
It's been a while since I was in the corporate environment, so things may have changed. I'm kind of doubting it.I worked in the Southern California corporate headquarters for a national bank. I was the computer geek everyone came to for help. I was just one of the assistants, but I did trainings and all sorts of computer-related things that weren't a part of my job. When the opportunity came to send people to computer networking training, I didn't get to go. Why? Affirmative Action. I was better suited and far better qualified. The two chosen for the training still came to me for help every day. Talk about politics!
