My sister in law had her office party on Thursday and her company offered 1000.00 gift cards, 500.00 gift cards, 100.00 gift cards, and 25.00 gift cards as door prizes. She received a 500.00 one. Plus the party had an open bar and it was catered by Chilis. I thought that was pretty nice. She works the the gas company. As in the gas to heat your home. I guess that is where all of our money is going to when we pay the bill LOL.

Wow, that's cool. In this day and age I know a lot of companies are cutting back in holiday parties. I think holiday parties boost morale.

That is such a sweet thing to do! Wow! The most i would get during christmas holiday or even on christmas is a hour or two off. Ha! Nice.

I wish that we would have an office party just to get in the holiday spirit but we did take a vote on it and opted to receive a bonus instead. I figured that would be better. :)

DH's old company had a Christmas party. His current company, that he's been with for seven-and-a-half years, doesn't do Christmas parties. I don't think they do bonuses either. You'd think I could remember that.
