Boston electric pencil sharpener

I am in need of the large gear for a Boston electric pencil sharpener Model 18 made by Hunt Manufacturing. It is plastic and about 8 teeth have been ground off when it got jammed.

I contacted Elmers Co. which is now the owner of the rights and patent to the Hunt Mfg Co (Boston) pencil sharpener located in Statesville, NC. Hunt was bought out by Elmers Glue.

Their customer service says there is no parts, especially the large gear for the Model 17, 18, 24 and 41 available.

They said there was an aftermarket mfgr. that has stopped making the gear. Call them and get the story at 800-879-4868
