I contacted Elmers Co. which is now the owner of the rights and patent to the Hunt Mfg Co (Boston) pencil sharpener located in Statesville, NC. Hunt was bought out by Elmers Glue.
Their customer service says there is no parts, especially the large gear for the Model 17, 18, 24 and 41 available.
They said there was an aftermarket mfgr. that has stopped making the gear. Call them and get the story at 800-879-4868

The stock # on the stapler is 73131.

I purchased a Boston School Pro electric pencil sharpener about a year ago. The blades are dull and need to be sharpened.I live in Ontario Canada. I need to know if I can ship my pencil sharpener back to the manufacturer to get the blades resharpened. How much would this cost in Canadian dollars? Also what is the web site address and street address of the Hunt corporation in Statesville North Carolina? Also I will need there telephone number.
I tried to find the web site on the internet but had a very hard time locating it.
The model number is 167X
Please let me know ASAP.
