I sell Avon. Thank goodness Avon isn't like Mary Kay and doesn't expect me to maintain an inventory. Nevertheless, I keep a few things on hand. I like to buy my customers' favorites when they go on sale so I can make more money the next time they go to buy. But I haven't found a good way to store products. I can't keep things in bookcases like I have been because the kitten (I'm hoping the kitten will be out of her when she's two next October.) steals things. The cardboard boxes Avon ships in are not attractive and my office is way too cluttered. Suggestions?

Hmmm maybe get a bookcase that has a door so it stays closed up and the kitten cannot jump onto the shelves and push all the items off the shelves? I have tis really nice wood bookcase that has a glass door and a KEY so i can keep it locked if i want to. That could be a good way to still be able to display your items but not risk people bumping into items, or stealing items or animals bumping into the items?

You might just try clearing out a closet to put the items in, like a coat closet. Or, you can alway store items in the garage. We don't have very much storage in my house either so I totally feel you. You can also try those rubbermaid boxes that you can store things under the bed.

One of the best things to use for storing your Avon products is a pantry cupboard. Usually they are about 8 feet high by about 30 inches wide by about 2 feet deep. They have doors so that you can close them and they don't take up much room. I had many Avon representatives that used them nicely for their products. They also used the plastic milk crates and stacked them on top of each other about 5 high and usually in two stacks. This helped them keep the same things in the same box and also allowed for things that didn't stand up on shelves to be stored.

I never thought about storing it in the pantry before. I have used the little plastic storage bins and just had it separated out.
